Ads on FanBox are Cost Per Click (CPC)and it simply means that unless someone clicks on your ad, there is no charge to you for that ad.
How is the Charge Determined?
The cost per click is calculated by the value of the search terms you choose. The value or cost per click for each search term is set by supply and demand for those interests and is recalculated daily based on supply and demand of those interests. The values are not released to the community.
When funding your ads there is not ""one size fits all"" method. It's basically learning what works best for your personal advertising style and sticking with it.
The basics of funding your ad is simple.
You will have IPL funds available to fund your ads and if you have utilized your IPL, you can use your FanBox funds that have matured for 60 days.
Please note that extremely popular search terms on FanBox will cost more per click because there is competition to get them shown. Choosing less popular search terms that still have a good number of interested FanBoxers will allow you to pay less per click.
Calculating Search Term Cost Per Click
If you're confused at how to determine how much you should pay per click, here is an easy example.
Each one of your search terms has a value. If you used six search terms in your ad that had a value of 2-cents each, then you'd need to place a minimum cost per click bid of 12-cents to cover those search terms.
Daily Budget Tips
Also there are no wrong answers when you set a daily budget, set it to the amount you're personally comfortable spending per day. Once your daily budget is spent through clicks on your ads, your ad will continue to be shown and it will be funded through Knowledge Boosters.
The more clicks you can fund, the more profit you realize.
Meaning use the highest daily budget you're comfortable with and bid as low as possible for your clicks starting at .06-cents.
It is always a great idea to check the box marked ""Maximize my earnings by utilizing my entire daily budget whenever possible"" on your ads so any unused funds will be used to fund that ads of other FanBoxers and you can let your ad budget work for you.
