Product and Services Rules
Here are some of the guilelines you should consider when you use the Provide feature. If you want the transaction to go well arm yourself with the knowledge of how the product works before you create your listing. Always be honest as your reputation will follow you.
Listing Title:
-You have 80 characters max to fill in the title of your listing. It should be written in title case. (first letter of each word is capitalized)
Listing Photos:
-The photos you choose should either be the product or exactly represent it. You want to clearly represent what it is that you are selling.
Listing Description:
-Accurately and completely describe your product/service, auction or premium blog.
-Establish trust based on your listing and let your buyer know what they are getting.
-Listings with emails or other contact information listed in them will be rejected when submited for approval.
Pricing:
-Determine what the the minimum you want to earn for each sale would be.
-FanBox will add a percentage to cover the amount paid to the people that promote your product.
-If you are selling a product that requires shipping be sure to add it to your base product price as there is no way to go back and charge for shipping after the sale.
Example: When you set your reservce price for an auction....
How Pricing Works For:
-When you sell an item you get your base price.
-The remaining percentage goes to the FanBox community.
-The community gets 30%.
Of that 30% here is how it is split:
If the Provide service or product was bought because of:
-an Ad, Repost or ""Like"" - you earn 20%
-a blog post - you earn 40%
-a boost that paid for an ad on a Provide listing - you earn 80%.
Want to earn more? Be sure to promote your own listings by blogging about them with a link to your listing.
You can earn your base price + 40%!
Note: If you take out an ad, be aware that ads on Provide are cost per click and you will be charged for the click whether or not someone makes a purchase.
Shipping:
-Note how long it will take you to ship out the product in the seller's note on your listing.
-Always provide tracking information to your buyer so you will have proof your item was delivered.
Note: You cannot ask for additional funds from the seller after the purchase, so you must calculate shipping for domestic and/or international packages and include it in your listing.
Digital content:
-No refunds and you should note this in the seller's notes in your listing.
-Auctions should state clearly the buyer is getting digital content.
Notes to Buyer Section:
