How Do Ads Work?
When you put up an ad on FanBox, that ad is shown to people who have an interest in your ad based on the search terms or interests  you have chosen to describe that ad. When interestedhttp://img845.imageshack.us/img845/9518/59b7fbde4f09444f9a56416.pngFanBox members click your ad and visit your post on one of your blogs that you're promoting, you have the potential to earn while that person is enjoying that post. Ads appear down the right hand side of the page. Your chosen interests will be shown slightly enlarged and bold on the ads. Since you have an interest in one of the tags/interests, you are shown the ads you are most likely to click.
For example, on the ads at the right, I have an interest in United States so I get the ad with the earrings with that Interest shown to me. I have an interest in art and painting so I get the ad with the Martini Cats Art Print shown to me.

See how FanBox works?
Ads are only shown to people that have an interest in that ad! That's why choosing tags/interests that are relevant to the ad is SO important!

When you're ready to make ads, you need to know the proper format for each part in order to maximize your earnings by getting your ads approved faster. The less work that has be done in the approval process, the faster your ads can perform for you on FanBox and start earning.

There are only a 5 parts to an ad that you need to learn.

Ready?

Here's how to do each part correctly.

First, before you start with any other part of your ad, check your language designation.
Make sure if the post or Provide listing you are promoting is in a particular language, the ad is in the same language. If the ad languages do not match, your ad will be rejected

The second part you should get to know well, is your ad title. Ad Titles should entice someone to want to look at your post. Be inventive with your titles and make it goal to catch the eye of the reader.Your title is always written in a format referred to as ""Title Case"". This means the first letter of each word is capitalized.

Third, is the image you choose. The image should always have relevance to your post. You can get images from Google Image Search, Yahoo images or create your own if you choose to represent your post, Provide listing or outside website. The whole idea of an image is to represent what you're promoting and catch the eye of the reader.

The fourth part of your ad is the ad text.
Your ad text is the main text area of your ad where you give the reader an idea of what they will find when they click on your ad. Make your ad text something that will make your reader want to click to find out more about your post, Provide listing or outside website. The text is written as standard sentence structure with a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence and ending with appropriate punctuation.

The fifth and final part of your ad is for the search terms, also referred to as ""tags"" you choose. These search terms are used to describe your ad as well as find interested people to view your ad and potentially click it so you earn. You will need to use a minimum of 4 search terms but you have the option to use 6 terms.
There is more indepth information about search terms in the next lesson titled, "Tags - How Ads are Shown".

Those are the 5 parts of an ad broken down - learn to do each part correctly and you will find you get your ads approved much faster and they can start promoting your blog posts and other knowledge roles you participate in on FanBox."

Now we are going to examine the part of your ad that can either pull in traffic more or drive them away.

Don't be afraid to add color or make your ad stand out! As it's relevant to what you're advertising - don't be shy about catching the eye of your reader and get that click!
Choosing a Correct Image for your Post is Very Important
The person that moderates your ads is your Success Coach. Have you ever turned in an ad that had your profile photo on it or a different photo and when your ad was published, it had a totally different image for the ad? That's because your SC took the time to find an image that better fit your ad so you could benefit from clicks.
If you learn to choose or even create your own images for your blog posts, you will definitely stand out from other ads and you will get the clicks. That's your goal when you advertise.
