The FanBox Ad Standards may be shared with your students it helps everyone understand the rules and to better understand why ads are rejected. As for the 7 exams to become a SC there is a module you will need to study for the exams, which once your read the module information and feel you are ready you the click start exam and have to complete the exam in one hour or you fail. You must score at least 23 out of 25 points to pass each section, then once you pass you will go to a site called FanBox University and complete that. When you complete all of that you are monitored for a set amount of time before you are fully vested.

Ad Content Rules
Reasons to Reject Ads:
1. Single photo blog post (post contains only 1 photo and no other content)
2. Post contains insufficient content (single, 1-line sentence or less)
3. Post is Non-English and Language designation is English
4. Post is English and Language designation is non-English
5. Post is promoting a Get Rich Quick scheme or other money-making sites
6. Post is inactive
7. Post contains inappropriate/offensive content including adult content, violence,
and/or illegal drugs
8. Post infringes any copyright stated within the article in the post
9. The post’s main intent is to advertise another website
What is considered adult content?
1. Nudity (including children, babies, artwork)
2. Sexual terms and/or images in positions or activities that are suggestive or sexual
3. Sexual activities described and/or images showing willingness to engage in sexual activity
4. Adult friend finders or dating sites with a sexual emphasis
5. Adult toys, videos, lingerie or other adult products
What is considered offensive content?
1. Children in underwear or partially clothed
2. Violence, including weapons in use against another person
3. Illegal drugs and/or people using illegal drugs
4. Children consuming alcohol, using tobacco products, and/or using illegal drugs
5. Images of people deceased, including from historical events
6. Content promoting hatred towards an individual or a group whether based upon the race, sex, creed, national origin, religious affiliation, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or language of such individual or group
What if the post contains words like sex, sexual, or sexy?
If the content contains words like sex/sexual/sexy the Ad CAN be approved if the post pertainsto the following subjects:
? Relationships/Love
? Education
? Science/Health
? Political/Current Events
Always examine the intent of the post to help you determine whether the post is inappropriate or not.
Ad Image Rules
1. Always change the Ad image if it contains the following:
? Ad image is a FanBox logo
? Ad image is a Johnny Cash icon or similar to a Johnny Cash icon
? Ad image is a FanBox Avatar (blue or green)
? Ad image contains inappropriate/offensive material
2. Always upload an image if no Ad image was submitted
3. If the Ad image does not pertain to the subject being advertised, replace the Ad image with an image that relates to the post being advertised
Ad Formatting Rules
1. All Ads must be in English.
2. Ad title must have consistent
capitalization (ALL CAPS NOT
ALLOWED).

3. Ad text must have consistent
capitalization (ALL CAPS NOT ALLOWED).

4. Ad text should be logical, grammatically correct, without misspellings and be in the form of complete sentences.
Ad text can include the following: common phrases and slang that is commonly understood such as ‘chill’ and ‘off the hook’.
Ad text CANNOT include the following: common phrases with misspellings and unnecessary word shortenings (such as ‘gunna’ and ’4get’), and abbreviation are not allowed for slang words or otherwise.
5. All sentences must have a space between each punctuation mark and must be complete, including a period.

6. Repeated and unnecessary punctuation is not permitted.
Incorrect Example: Flowers are the perfect gift for birthdays anniversaries weddings and holidays ! Order online get free shipping
Correct Example: Flowers are the perfect gift for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and holidays! Order online and get free shipping.
7. The use of all symbols, numbers, or letters must adhere to the true meaning of the symbol and symbols may not be used to substitute letters.
Incorrect Example:
Ad Title: Apartment 4 Rent
Ad Text: Want to live just bocks from campus? Checkout ours! Call 2 set up an appointment.
Doesn’t cost a lot of $.
Correct Example:
Ad Title: Apartment for Rent
Ad Text: Want to live just blocks from campus? Check out ours! Call to set up an appointment.
Doesn’t cost a lot of money.
8. Ad title or text must not contain links to any website or blog.
