Have you ever thought about why we put tags/keywords in our posts? Have you been wondering if they are important or if they really matter? Well the answer to the last question is YES! Tags are important! I will give you some reasons why:

The tags you select for your post will be specifically targeted to readers with those interests. If you put in a tag that is not very popular then your post will not be targeted to specific readers as much as it could be. Not sure how to find popular tags? I will tell you exactly how to find them!

After I write a post I save it, but don't publish it yet and go to this page where I look through all of the tags to find the ones that will fit my post. This will ensure that my post will be targeted to specific readers. Also, make sure you use a tag word for each box. If you don't fill out each box with a tag it's a missed opportunity. Your post will reach less readers. booooo :( Make sure you pick tags that pertain to your post because your tags will be rated by your readers
! If you pick tags that don't have anything to do with your post then it will get pushed back on the search list and have less chance of being read when searched for.
