How To Get Your Ads Get Approved Quickly!

If you have placed ads you know that it can take a day or two for your ad to be approved and start circulating the site.

Wouldn't it be great if we could get our ads approved quicker!

I will tell you one of the reasons that I know for a fact causes delays in our ads getting approved.

Why does it take so long??

Well, let me show you!

Let's start here...the 'Title': Below is an example of one of my ads.

Do you see how the title of my post is too long. The title of your post will auto-populate the title field in your ad. See how my title is too long and doesn't fit within the allocated space. The last word 'title' cuts off if I don't change it. Oh and please don't do all caps. If you take a look at the red arrow you can see how your title will look when you submit your ad...not pretty.

What does that mean to you?

If the title cuts off and you leave it this way that means that someone else has to rewrite it, which takes time and it may not come out as you want it to.

Why should you care?

That is time which is taken away from approving your ad which is waiting in line.

Let's move on...there's more

Next issue: The body text

We want our ads to be catchy. To entice the reader to click on our ads, so we make money. How does this look to you?

Not so good right. For several reason....

It has a spelling mistake
It is not catchy at all
It is not a grammatically correct sentence
The first letter is not capitalized

This is how we can improve the look of the ad:

Body Text: "Not sure about the new investing feature? Check out this simple guide."

Sounds better right...no misspellings, it's a full sentence and it's catchy!

If Fanbox were to approve the ad as I submitted it this is what it would look like...

Would you click on that ad? Of course NOT! Look at it! It sucks!

This is what happens after I submit this ad..

Keep in mind the goal is for our ads to begin to circulate around fanbox as soon as possible, so we can make money.

If I were to submit this ad someone has to

change the title

correct my misspelling
correct my sentence structure

It may not sound like that much work to correct this one ad, but Fanbox approves hundreds and thousands of ads for us!

Can you see where I am going with this? If we create ads using these suggestions it will be a HUGE time saver for the people that approve our ads.The more people that put a little more time into preparing their ads the more it will help us ALL!

I have another suggestion....

You know how after you create your post and save it we can enter a 'description' of our post. Now people are creating ads for other people's posts right, so if we put our catchy text in this 'description' box and save it when someone else creates an ad for our post the 'body text' will already be there. This will be a time saver for you when you create the ad and the person who approves it. Especially, if the ad had all the bells and whistles of being grammatically correct, correct spelling, not in all caps and a full sentence....aahhh the perfect ad.

I know not everyone's first language is English, so it is not always easy to accomplish some of these things. Just do the best you can.

This will work best when we ALL participate in making some of these changes. Especially now that so many of us are making more ads because of the investing feature it is becoming more important we do our part in this.

I hope this sheds some light on part of the process of approving ads and what goes into it.
